Project Scope
Steel detailing for a heavy manufacturing plant expansion — overhead crane runway beams, monorail support steel, reinforced columns, and secondary framing tie-ins to existing structure.
Key Challenge
Tie-in to 30-year-old as-built structure with minimal records
The existing steel had limited and partially incorrect as-built documentation. Tectonix field-measured the critical tie-in zones, reconciled discrepancies, and issued a documented existing-conditions report before detailing began — preventing costly field corrections during erection.
