Project Scope
Five-story office building with composite floor framing, perimeter moment frames for lateral resistance, and a rooftop mechanical screen structure.
Key Challenge
Lateral system design-assist during detailing phase
The structural engineer was still finalizing moment frame connection sizes during the early detailing phase. We maintained a fully parameterized Tekla model that allowed rapid updates as connection designs were confirmed, avoiding the sheet-by-sheet redraw cycles typical of a CAD-based workflow.
