Long-span gymnasium structure with long-span trusses, bleacher support framing, skylights, and connection into a new classroom addition.
Key Challenge
Long-span truss fabrication detailing with camber requirements
The 120-foot clear-span roof trusses required precise camber specifications coordinated with the structural engineer's deflection analysis. Tectonix produced detailed shop camber diagrams and confirmed allowable fabrication tolerances with the fabricator before issuing final drawings.
